It is important to note that this war was also the biggest-ever military surrender after World War II.

Some of the netizens claimed that this visit might unnerve the Pakistani establishment as Oman and Pakistan share a decade-old warm and cooperative relationship based on common culture.

The geo-strategic importance of Oman is important for Pakistan as Oman is the nearest Arab country to Pakistan, because of this, they both share a maritime boundary with each other. It is pertinent to note that, earlier Oman had supported Pakistan’s stance on the Jammu and Kashmir Dispute also, so the upcoming visit will be closely watched as to how the two countries will navigate their shared vision for a stable and prosperous region.
