Renowned for his unfiltered communication, Elon Musk recently confronted the repercussions of his antisemitic post on X during a candid interview at the prestigious New York Times Deal Book Summit. Musk, in what he dubbed his “dumbest” social media post apology, spared no punches when criticizing advertisers deserting X amidst escalating antisemitism, bluntly instructing them to “go f**k yourself.” Not even Disney CEO Bob Iger escaped Musk’s unfiltered remarks.
During the interaction musk stated “I mean, look, I’m sorry for that … post,” he said. “It was foolish of me. of the 30,000 it might be literally the worst and dumbest post I’ve ever done. And I’ve tried my best to clarify six ways from Sunday, but you know at least I think it’ll be obvious that in fact far from being anti-Semitic, I’m in fact philosemitic.”

His recent visit to Israel, eschewing the label of an apology tour, underscored his refusal to “tap dance” to validate his goodness.
