There is a significant danger to Telangana in the form of Congress says KCR

KCR sircilla

Telangana Chief Minister, Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao, and BRS Chief expressed satisfaction upon witnessing the Upper Maneru, which previously remained dry during the time of combined Andhra Pradesh, now flourishing with abundant water. During his helicopter ride to Sircilla for a public meeting, he mentioned his happiness at witnessing the rejuvenated Upper Maneru. Rao further stated that he has visited Sircilla around 170 times throughout his 70-year-long life, highlighting his strong connection and affinity to the area. He acknowledged the discrimination faced by Telangana when it was a part of united Andhra Pradesh, mentioning the closure of 15 rice mills in Potugal, Sircilla, and the complete drying up of Maneru River. However, after achieving separate statehood and his BRS government coming to power, Telangana has achieved remarkable progress in various sectors, earning it the top position in multiple domains. Rao highlighted the sight of lush green fields throughout the state. As part of the Telangana Assembly election campaign, KCR participated in a public meeting held in the Sircilla constituency on October 17th.

We have changed the lives of Sircilla weavers: KCR

“During the Telangana movement, one night while traveling through Sircilla in a car, we were deeply moved when we spotted writings on the walls illuminated by the car lights, which read, ‘suicide is not the solution to problems.’ When I contested as Karimnagar MP, the people here extended their support and I emerged victorious. However, one day, I was appalled to come across a news in the daily newspaper stating that seven weavers had tragically taken their own lives. Without delay, I reached out to influential individuals and through the party, we provided them with a financial aid of Rs.50 lakhs. This assistance brought them some relief. On that day, I emphasized that weavers should not resort to suicide and assured them for future,” KCR said.

He stated that the lives of handloom workers in Sircilla have transformed today. Minister KTR has affirmed his commitment to the welfare and progress of handloom workers. It is evident that KTR is tirelessly working to advance the interests of handloom workers while ensuring sufficient allocation of funds. BRS leader L. Ramana, representing the Padmashali community, expressed his aspiration to model Sircilla after Solapur. He has full confidence that the BRS party will secure another victory, and he vows to support them in furthering the growth of Sircilla and addressing the needs of handloom workers. KCR addressed the people, acknowledging that KTR’s achievements speak for themselves and emphasized his dedication. He assured the public that Siricilla will be transformed into a distinguished educational hub in the future, with comprehensive developmental measures in place.

KCR stated that the government is distributing clothes to the underprivileged during Christmas, Ramzan, and Bathukamma festivals, aiming to provide employment opportunities to handloom workers. He mentioned that for the Bathukamma festival, the government has initiated a program to distribute 1 crore sarees, with their manufacturing handed over to Telangana’s handloom workers, thereby offering them jobs. It was claimed that some political parties have unfairly politicized this program, which was originally implemented by the BRS government with a humanitarian approach to alleviate the struggles of handloom workers. These critics argue that there will always be individuals who try to politicize any situation.

There is significant danger to Telangana from Congress : KCR

KCR stated that the BRS party manifesto was recently announced. They emphasized that they do not deceive voters with false promises in the manifesto. Instead, they have provided practical assurances. KCR mentioned that the ‘Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme’ was initially introduced with a financial aid of Rs.50,000 for weddings of girls from impoverished families. Later, the assistance amount was increased to Rs.1,16,000. According to the latest pension scheme, the current pensions will be raised from Rs.3,000 to Rs.5,000 in a phased manner. The promise to incrementally increase pensions demonstrates their commitment to honesty and not resorting to fraudulent tactics. KCR highlighted the transformation of Telangana into a green state under the BRS rule, with the production of 3 crore tonnes of paddy. The Telangana Annapurna scheme has been included in the manifesto, aiming to provide high-quality rice to every family in the state through ration goods.

KCR appealed that leaders of other parties come to the people with lies and frauds during elections and appeal to the people to act wisely. He reminded the people of Telangana that there is a significant danger, and the Congress party claims that they will eliminate the ‘Dharani’ portal if they come into power. He pointed out that since the implementation of Dharani, there have been no land disputes or conflicts, and all the villages have been peaceful. He explained that removing the Dharani portal would halt the farmers’ land transactions and lead to a situation where farmers would have to navigate through the courts to assert their rights. He highlighted that the ‘Dharani’ portal has granted the farmers the authority previously held by government officials at various levels. He emphasized that the Chief Minister cannot alter land ownership rights without the biometric data of the farmers. He stated that Dharani has enhanced the security of land ownership. Additionally, he mentioned that even in Adilabad border, the value of one acre of land is currently estimated at Rs. 25 lakhs.

He stated that the Congress party claims that 24 hours of free electricity is sufficient for farmers, while suggesting that only 3 hours of electricity should be enough. He pointed out that despite ruling Telangana for 60 years, the Congress party failed to adequately supply electricity to farmers. He further mentioned that despite the central government’s pressure to install meters to farm pumpsets the Congress party remained resistant. He added that even in the Prime Minister’s own state, Gujarat, farmers do not receive 24-hour free electricity, whereas in Telangana, they do.

Ganga Jamuna Tehzeeb culture

He said that BRS wants the welfare of all the people irrespective of caste, religion, and creed. He accused some individuals of fostering conflicts between Hindus and Muslims for their political gain. He mentioned that Hindus and Muslims have been living harmoniously in Telangana for many years, illustrating the concept of Ganga Jamuna Tehzeeb. He also highlighted the recent instance where the Ganesh immersion and Miladun Nabi coincided on the same day, but the Muslim community demonstrated tolerance and postponed their festival with magnanimity.
