Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrasekhar Rao, while speaking at Manakondur on Monday, pledged to establish food processing units in every Mandal to enhance farmers’ income and generate employment opportunities for local youths once he assumes power for the third term.
“As Telangana became successful in producing huge quantities of paddy, BRS, if voted to power, will be setting up food processing industries everywhere, which will become employment resources for local youth,” the chief minister said.
Acknowledging the BRS party’s dedication to economic development, KCR emphasized the importance of establishing food processing units throughout the state. “Since we have been producing crores of tonnes of paddy, we will be setting up food processing units wherever they are required so that local people will get employment,” he said.
ఒకటి తర్వాత ఒకటి చేసుకుంటూ… pic.twitter.com/KFT6CKAAvM

BRS to Abolish Fitness Certificates
Stating that the food processing industries would enhance employment prospects for local youth and guarantee fair prices to farmers for their crops, the Chief Minister also committed to eliminating the fee for the annual renewal of fitness certificates for auto-rickshaws. This move is expected to bring significant relief to over five lakh auto-rickshaw drivers.
Telangana was the only State to waive off tax on auto-rickshaws, he added. “The merger of the TSRTC in the State government and regularization of the RTC employees also will be completed after the Assembly polls. It got delayed as the Governor did not give her consent,” he said.

Will build houses like paddy has grown in Telangana
“The BRS will ensure that every family without a house of their own will get one in the next five years,” he said.
Telangana CM also promised to not only continue the Rythu Bandhu scheme but also increase the amount gradually from the existing Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 16,000 if the BRS is re-elected to power.
“The Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, are openly speaking against the Dharani portal. If mistakenly voted, they would scrap the farmer-centric schemes including Dharani and Rythu Bandhu,” he claimed.
The BRS government is putting into action a series of pro-farmer initiatives, including the provision of round-the-clock power supply for agriculture. You must make a choice, he urged, calling upon the public to cast their votes in favor of BRS candidates in the upcoming Assembly polls on November 30.
