Congress MP Rahul Gandhi visited the Medigadda barrage in Jayashankar Bhupalapally district on November 2nd. The barrage, which is part of the Kaleshwaram project, has experienced sinking piers recently. A central team has examined the barrage and will shortly submit a report to the Ministry of Jal Shakti. The Congress party alleges that the Kaleshwaram project is a major scam by KCR, and they criticise the design of the project as a blunder. During his visit for the Congress election campaign, Rahul Gandhi is actively targeting BRS (presumably a politician or organisation) regarding the Kaleshwaram project. In every public meeting attended, he accuses KCR of looting public funds, turning Kaleshwaram into his family’s personal ATM.

BJP also followed the suit when Union Minister of Water Resources, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, tweeted a video by TV5 (A TDP affiliated News Channel) titled National Dam Safety Authority Key Report On Medigadda Barrage. This tweet was not taken well by BRS cadre. Later Congress also shared the same report.
