Every opposition party leader stormed Bangalore and for 3 days, Bangalore saw top politicians of the country having idli dosa on road side corners. All the five-star hotels were booked for a week. Security was so tight that politicians and their crew had to be checked before and after using toilets. The high melodrama that Bangalore witnessed in 2018 may is still fresh in memory.
The occasion was special as for the first time, someone who had the least amount of MLAs in the house, became CM of the state. The ruling BJP had no clue what just happened with them in polls and what followed. Congress claimed victory by accepting Kumaraswamy as CM. Every PM aspirant was there and in a long time political articles seemed like page 3 articles with candid photos
Post this party HD Kumaraswamy is known for hard core swearing in Ceremonies. Many south Indian parties consulted HD Kumaraswamy for their swearing in ceremonies as well. HD Kumaraswamy is now just looking for another chance to make it a even bigger party. He is sure that no matter, who wins the election, he has to become the CM, so he could call his friends and show them what a party must look like.
In the same bid, he recently joined NDA and it seems he has made it clear that he would be the solo CM candidate as many would know, BJP lost not one but two CM candidates in last tenure.
Political PUNdits are looking at this as a Nitish Kumar on steroids in making. Insider reports say that, HDK called all his friends for a get together after joining NDA but only got one response from Chandrababu’s side, who is desparately looking for a party.
