Jagan inaugurates 5 lakh houses

Today in Andhra Pradesh, the dream of 5.24 lakh families has come true. The YSRCP government in the state has completed construction of 5 lakh houses under the ‘Pedal Andariki Illu Scheme’ as part of the Navaratnalu promises. At Samarlakota, Kakinada district, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy formally inaugurated the collective housing of 5.24 lakh houses across the state. The CM, along with the officials, inspected the local YSR Jagananna Colony where the construction of 2,412 houses has been completed. On this occasion, housewarming ceremonies were formally conducted for many beneficiaries. Later, the statue of the former CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy, installed in the colony premises, was unveiled. Subsequently, he addressed the public in a meeting held there.

Jagan is about welfare in the state

CM Jagan claimed that since the YSRCP government came to power in the state, 31 lakh poor individuals have been given housing pattas through the grace of God. He stated that the government has undertaken the construction of 22 lakh houses, with 5.84 lakh already completed. Additionally, the construction of 1.57 lakh Tidco houses has also been finished. Overall, the government has built 7.43 lakh houses for the poor throughout the state. Furthermore, he mentioned that the construction of another 14 lakh houses is progressing rapidly. These initiatives are not solely about providing houses, but also about creating new villages together. He added that the state currently has 13 thousand gram panchayats and 17 thousand new YSR Jagananna colonies are being established.

Jagan mentioned that he had inquired with the local YSRCP in-charge, Dora Babu, about the local land rates prior to the meeting. According to Dorababu, each cent in YSR Jagananna Colony layouts is priced at Rs.12 lakhs. Jagan expressed his satisfaction in undertaking a program that would provide substantial financial benefits to the less privileged. He further informed that a total of 2400 houses are currently being built in Samarlakota, spanning across 54 acres. Additionally, he mentioned that the construction of 1000 houses has already been finished, along with the completion of house entrances.

YSRCP stands with the Poor

CM YS Jagan stated that the YSRCP government has distributed 72,000 acres of land to the poor in the state, which is an unprecedented achievement in the country. The market value of each acre is estimated to be at least Rs.2.50 lakhs. Furthermore, the government has provided Rs.1.80 lakhs for house construction, along with an additional Rs.15,000 crores for free supply of sand and Rs.40,000 crores for affordable construction materials. Another Rs.30,000 crores have been allocated for infrastructure development in YSR Jagananna colonies, including roads, drainage, drinking water, and electricity, all for the benefit of the poor.

It is stated that there were 1 crore poor people in the state who did not have housing before the YSRCP came to power. He stated that after the YSRCP came to power, their government is constructing houses along with house pattas for 31 lakh poor people. It is alleged that in the Puranas, when deities perform Yajna, demons used to destroy it; similarly, Chandrababu & Co. has conspired with cases in the courts to hinder the grand programme undertaken by the YSRCP, he added. However, his government did not back down for the welfare of the poor. He stated that not only the construction of houses, but the government is also implementing 35 programs for the people of the state such as Ammavodi, YSR Aasara, YSR Cheyutha, Zero Interest Scheme, Rythu Bharosa, etc. He further stated that even though the state’s income has decreased during the Covid period, his government has not neglected the welfare and development of the poor.

Chandrababu is the face of Scams

Jagan said when people see Chandrababu’s face, they remember the scams, whereas if they see Jagan’s face, they recall the schemes. Jagan alleged that in the previous government, the then Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had not allocated even a cent of land to the poor. He stated that the difference between himself and Chandrababu lies in their sense of responsibility towards the poor and their compassionate approach. Despite having assets worth billions of rupees, Chandrababu did nothing to assist the impoverished within his own constituency. He affirmed that during his 14 years as CM and 35 years as an MLA, he failed to assume any responsibility for the people there. Jagan alleged that Chandrababu and his supporters lack dedication to the well-being of the state and are only interested in exploiting its resources for personal gain.

Jagan alleged that Pawan Kalyan, along with Ramoji Rao, Andhra Jyoti Radhakrishna, and TV5 Naidu, are always thinking to plot to plunder Andhra Pradesh and distribute it among themselves, referring to Pawan Kalyan as the adopted son of Chandrababu Naidu. Jagan criticized Pawan Kalyan, mentioning that he has been married three times, and questioned how someone who lacks respect for women can be a leader. He added that after Pawan contested in the previous elections and lost in the Bhimavaram and Gajuwaka constituencies, he has ignored them since then. He alleged that Pawan Kalyan is selling his fans and community to another party for his own self-interest and gain.

Jagan recalled . Jagan recalled instances where Chandrababu made derogatory remarks about Dalits and BC’s. He said CBN never cares of SC, ST, and BC communities welfare and development in the state. Jagan emphasized the importance of politics with values and credibility, aiming to be remembered by people even after his demise. According to him, the YSRCP Government has successfully implemented 99 percent of its manifesto since taking office. He asserted that government schemes have benefited 87 percent of families in the state. Jagan claimed that if anybody visits any poor family home, they would express gratitude for the positive work done by the YCP government. Overall, he stressed the widespread impact and effectiveness of government initiatives in improving the lives of citizens in Andhra Pradesh.

Governance brought to the doorsteps : Jagan

Jagan said that the governance has been brought to the doorsteps of people through village secretariats and volunteers, bringing about a transformation in the villages. He mentioned that essential items such as ration goods, birth certificates, income certificates, and caste certificates are now provided at people’s homes. Furthermore, he highlighted the changes that have been made in the lives of farmers through Rythu Bharosa Kendras. He also mentioned the improvements in the education system, including the introduction of English medium teaching and the availability of digital classes in government schools. Lastly, he emphasized their support for students through programs like Ammavodi, Vidya Kanuka, Vidya Deevena, and Vasathi Deevena.

He stated that previously, there were 11 medical colleges in the state, but after the YSRCP government came into power, an additional 17 new medical colleges were established. He mentioned that previously, Arogyasri provided treatment for only 1000 diseases. However, it has now been increased to cover 3000 diseases. He also stated that a Arogya Aasara scheme has been implemented, providing Rs. 5 thousand per month to support the poor after their surgery. He mentioned the introduction of concepts like village clinics and family doctors. He added that since the YSRCP government took office, an additional 207,000 new jobs have been created, with 80 percent of these opportunities being given to youth from SC, ST, BC, and minority communities. He emphasized that regardless of whether they voted for the YSRCP in the elections or not, eligible individuals are provided with government schemes. He called upon all the people benefiting from the YSRCP government to support them.
