The Political Significance
Before 2019 Elections, Two biopics were in the theatres with two narratives. One as Yatra, based on the late Chief Minister YSR’s life. The other based on late Chief Minister NT Rama Rao’s life named as Kathanayukudu and Mahanayakudu. The theatrical and OTT success of Yatra over Nandamuri Balakrishna’s NTR biopics, gave YSRCP much needed moral boost before the polls.
Before 2024 polls, YS Jagan’s biopic will definitely be a big event for YSRCP supporters.
