India has just declared the initiation of ‘Operation Ajay’ with the objective of facilitating the repatriation of Indian citizens who are now stranded in Israel. This decision comes in response to the escalation of tensions in the region, primarily caused by the recent series of audacious attacks carried out by Hamas militants on Israeli towns throughout the weekend. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the present population of Indian residents in Israel is estimated to be approximately 18,000 individuals.
