Extraordinary Man Movie Review

ExtraOrdinary man

The premise of the story revolves around Nithin, who is a junior artist aiming to be a lead hero in the stardom world, and what happens when he confronts a prominent figure in the industry. Nithin’s acting seems pretty ordinary, except few scenes, where he is not able to bring life to the characters. Sreeleela’s performance is commendable but she was not utilised properly in the script other than coming in songs and random scenes. The movie is produced by Nithiin’s father and sister Nalla Sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha Reddy under the Shresth Movies banner. Ironically, the production value of the film is not appealing, it is mediocre.

This is director Vakkantham Vamsi’s second movie where he attempted a comedy movie. However, it did not work well as the plot is mixed with action, songs and sentiments, which diluted the genre of the movie.  The writing is below par; even the imperative characters don’t have any depth or meaningfully constructed. He failed to write a single character that could have held the film. The first half is watchable as few funny scenes work but slowly it will frustrate the audience, checking their patience. The second half is chaotic and most of the characters are trying hard to elevate comedy, but it becomes exhaustive for the audience.

Music director Harris Jayaraj’s songs seem disconnected with the film and the background score is not add value to the visuals. Prawin Pudi editing represents the aimless storytelling of the movie with dappled cuts and sketchy. The collective work of cinematographers Sai Sriram, Arthur A Wilson, and H Yuvaraaj is visibly cluttered, not soothing. The boring comedy and blunt characters drag down the movie as a tiresome watch.  Overall, the film is ordinary, flat and clueless for the audience.
