In a recent address at the JanaSena Party’s general body meeting in Mangalagiri, Pawan Kalyan, the party’s president, did not mince words when he claimed that the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) lacked a coherent ideology. According to Kalyan, the YSRCP’s sole objective revolves around securing a second term for Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy as Chief Minister, dismissing any semblance of a broader ideological framework.
Pawan Kalyan mentioned, If 2009 went as per his plans, Janasena would have formed government independently in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Though there were no details on how and what was the plan, he only spoke about his perception of power.
2009 ప్రస్తావన లేకుండా ఉండుంటే ఈపాటికే జనసేన ఇండిపెండెంట్గా ప్రభుత్వాన్ని స్థాపించి ఉండేది!!

He ensured the cadre that Janasena and TDP alliance will form Government in Andhra Pradesh in 2024.

Youth Support: A Formidable Asset
Undoubtedly, Pawan Kalyan’s optimism stems from the overwhelming support JSP claims to enjoy among the youth in both Telugu States. He emphasized that this demographic advantage should not be squandered, asserting its pivotal role in making a substantial impact in the upcoming 2024 elections. Pawan Kalyan emphasized the significant support his party has garnered from the youth, stating, “The party boasts a cadre strength of 6.5 lakh, and our true strength lies in the youth.”
Pawan Kalyan expressed satisfaction with the JSP’s burgeoning support among the youth, claiming it has even garnered attention at the national level. He pointed to the surprising alliance with the BJP as a testament to the JSP’s strength and influence. It would be very interesting to see, how Telangana Election results favors the big claims made by the Janasena chief.
So far Janasena as a party have only fought one election that was in 2019. In last four and half years, they have learnt a lot and Telangana Elections result will show, how much the party actually have learned.

Caste Trap Warning: A Strategic Caution
Highlighting a potential threat, Kalyan cautioned JSP cadres against falling into the ‘caste trap’ laid by YSRCP leaders. He asserted that the ruling party’s attempts to exploit caste lines could undermine the JSP’s prospects in the upcoming elections.
In a noteworthy declaration, Kalyan distanced himself from power-centric ambitions, emphasizing that his focus lies solely on the welfare of the people. He urged JSP cadres to unite with the TDP for the sake of Andhra Pradesh’s stability and development, framing the alliance as a strategic move against the YSRCP.
Amidst Challenges
Addressing challenges faced during a recent visit to Visakhapatnam, Kalyan showcased a resilient spirit, asserting that the JSP’s recognition would come through their actions and commitment to the welfare of the state.
Kalyan’s address attempted to outline a vision for the Jana Sena Party, positioning it as a force against what he perceives as the YSRCP’s agenda-driven governance. The looming 2024 elections will undoubtedly test the viability of the JSP-TDP alliance and the strength of the party’s youth-centric appeal.
