At a pivotal meeting held at his Camp, office in Tadepalli on 18.10.2023, CM Jagan articulated a comprehensive roadmap, emphasizing the urgency of ensuring the program’s success. The meeting, attended by eminent officials, resonated with a shared commitment to eradicate malnutrition and anaemia among the state’s vulnerable populations.

Supervisory System Reinforcement:
A cornerstone of CM Jagan’s strategy is bolstering the supervisory system within Anganwadis. He emphasised the need for stringent Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to optimize the supervisory mechanism’s efficiency. Regular vigilance and stringent monitoring were deemed indispensable to guaranteeing that beneficiaries receive the vital support they need.
Quality Dry Ration Distribution:
Ensuring the quality of distributed items, particularly dry rations, took centre stage. CM Jagan stressed that beneficiaries must receive high-quality, nutritious food, necessitating meticulous attention to the procurement and distribution processes. The focus on quality resonates with the government’s commitment to holistic community development.
Integrated Healthcare Approach:
CM Jagan’s vision integrates healthcare and nutrition seamlessly. The Medical and Health Department has been tasked with supplying medicines to anaemic patients and malnutrition victims identified at Jagananna Arogya Suraksha camps. Simultaneously, the Women and Child Welfare Department will provide these individuals with nutritious meals. This coordinated effort ensures a holistic healthcare approach, aligning with the state’s commitment to comprehensive well-being.
Empowering through Technology:
Harnessing the power of technology, CM Jagan advocated for a digital database to register details of underweight children and vulnerable individuals. This innovative step ensures targeted support, enabling timely intervention and progress monitoring. The seamless integration of technology demonstrates the government’s commitment to efficiency and accountability.
Community arrangement and health Awareness:
Recognizing the impact of changing lifestyles on public health, CM Jagan urged regular awareness campaigns. Monthly health camps will educate communities about emerging diseases and preventive measures. Holistic Approach to Eradicate Anaemia:
Understanding the complexity of anaemia, CM Jagan stressed the importance of constant monitoring. Regular haemoglobin tests for children, pregnant women, and lactating mothers are crucial. These tests will not only identify deficiencies but also facilitate timely interventions, ensuring that health issues are tackled proactively.

Empowering the Women and Child Welfare Department, CM Jagan stressed the importance of filling vacant posts promptly. He highlighted the necessity of active involvement from Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs) in identifying children and pregnant women who missed vaccinations. Their participation ensures that no one is left behind in the quest for a healthier society.
