KCR instructions to the BRS Candidates

Before the release of the manifesto, BRS candidates were instructed by KCR in Telangana Bhavan regarding the election. During the election campaign, many suggestions were given on how to deal with party cadre and people. He advised that contesting candidates should respect every party worker in the constituency, should behave respectfully with the public. He is mentioned that every party worker should be included and move forward. He suggested candidates to ensure that there are no ripples in the party ranks in the constituency. He said that the adjustment of seats has been done harmoniously in almost all the constituencies.

KCR said that a special call center has been set up for the candidates. Bharat Kumar will act as the election coordinator on behalf of the party and the candidates are advised to contact him if they have any problem. In view of courts declaring disqualification of MLAs citing technical reasons, care should be taken in the matter of election nomination papers of candidates, he added. He told the candidates that there is a favorable environment for BRS in the state and once again victory is theirs. All the leaders who have received B-forms today should immediately go to the field and intensify the campaign, and only those who will receive B-forms tomorrow should stay in Hyderabad.

Today, KCR handed over B Forms to 51 candidates. KCR also handed over a check of Rs.40 lakh to each candidate for the election expenses along with the B form. The rest of the candidates will receive the B-forms tomorrow. Due to the absence of Minister Vemula Prashant Kumar Reddy, MLC Kavitha Befam received it on his behalf. Prashanth Reddy’s mother passed away recently, so he could not attend today’s party program.

KCR stated that candidates who were not given tickets this time would be provided with other opportunities. He mentioned that in constituencies like Vemulawada, there was no need for a change in candidates, but due to legal complications surrounding Chennamaneni Ramesh, a new candidate had to be chosen. He further mentioned that in Asifabad this time, Atram Sakku was not given a ticket, but efforts were made to convince and accommodate them. KCR also noted that in the previous election, one or two candidates lost because they did not align with certain party leaders in their constituency. He claimed that despite his suggestions, they did not adhere to them and as a result were defeated.
