chandrababu naidu out of jail

Soon after being released from jail on bail, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu addressed his supporters and TDP cadre. Naidu expressed his gratitude towards the people who had shown unwavering support for the past 52 days, taking to the streets and organizing protests, as well as holding prayers at temples. He said that he has done no wrong in the past 45 years of his political career and hasn’t allowed anyone to do so.

He emphasized that the support extended not just within Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, but also across the globe, highlighting that those who had benefited from his policies during his tenure as chief minister had rallied behind him. He remarked that his heart was filled with overwhelming gratitude for the support received from all corners of the world. He said, he will never forget the affection shown to him, not only in Andhra Pradesh but also in Telangana and across the world, He was referring to the TDP led protests in Hyderabad and other foreign cities.

He also thanked JanaSena party and Pawan Kalyan for their open support to his fight. Chandrababu also mentioned his gratitude for BJP, CPI, BRS and Congress leaders for their support.

The Court restraints remain

Chandrababu Naidu has been released from Rajahmundry Central Jail after the High Court granted him interim bail on health grounds. This bail will be in effect until November 28th, at which point he must surrender. The High Court has explicitly instructed Naidu to only focus on receiving treatment in the hospital during this interim bail period. Additionally, the court has prohibited him from using or speaking on the phone, participating in political activities, or speaking to the media.

The support of Party cadre

Large numbers of Telugu Desam Party supporters and cadre gathered at Rajahmundry Central Jail during Naidu’s release. State TDP President Atchannaidu, MLA’s Gorantla Bucchayya Chowdary and Nandamuri Balakrishna, as well as former MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar, were also present to welcome CBN. The police struggled to control the mob. Naidu was released from jail at around 4pm on Tuesday, October 31st, and subsequently left for Vijayawada. He had been arrested by CID in connection with an alleged scam worth Rs. 371 crore in the AP Skill Development Corporation, and had served 52 days in judicial custody at Rajahmundry Central Prison.

As the party still has to wait for other cases to come to court, the interim bail on skill development scam is a relief for the time being. The party cadre soon took it to social media to show their support with hashtags like #babuIsBack and #CBNSatyamevaJayate.
