Arvind vs Kavitha a heated political tussle in Telangana

Telangana BJP MP Dharmpuri Arvind made controversial remarks against Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao, Minister KTR, and MLC Kavitha. During a public meeting in Nizamabad, Arvind criticized the BRS party’s recent manifesto and specifically targeted KCR’s Rs.5 lakh Life Insurance scheme for BPL families. He alleged that the government is not providing insurance for farmers above 56 years of age who have passed away. Arvind went on to announce that if KCR were to die, he would provide Rs. 5 lakh under the Nizamabad BJP manifesto. Arvind further accused the BRS government of failing to provide crop insurance for farmers and failing to offer health insurance for necessary medical treatments.

If KTR, Kavitha dies… : MP Arvind

Arvind targeted not only KCR, but also KTR and Kavitha. He stated that he had promised to provide a Rs.5 lakh life insurance sum in the event of KTR’s death, but he recently announced that it would increase to Rs.10 lakh due to KTR’s younger age. Additionally, Arvind mentioned that in the case of Kalvakuntla Kavitha’s demise, he would offer a Rs.20 lakh life cover. Further Arvind alleged that Congress President Revanth Reddy and BRS MLC Kavitha are business partners and that Kavitha is involved in a conspiracy to facilitate former MLC Akula Lalitha’s switch to the Congress party in order for her to contest from Nizamabad Urban Assembly constituency.

Kavitha appeal to Telangana public

Responding to MP Arvind’s remarks, MLC Kavitha stated that after being defeated in the Nizamabad Lok Sabha election, she remained silent to give the opportunity to work the MP who had won there. However, she added that the MP disregarded his responsibilities and targeted her personally with derogatory comments. Kavitha appealed to the Telangana public by asking whether they would accept the remarks made by Arvind if they were made against their own daughters. She also questioned whether it is acceptable for him to make any derogatory remarks against her simply because she is a politician and KCR’s daughter. Do we allow this kind of cheap politics in the state, she added.

“If Arvind questions anything related to issues, I’m ready to provide answers. However, is it acceptable to make personal remarks?” she questioned. She appealed to the people of Telangana to ponder whether such kind of politics is needed for the state. She recalled that even during the Telangana movement, they did not personally target Andhra leaders or use impolite language against them. She emphasized that she has the courage and determination to face any challenge and requested people not to encourage politicians who engage in depraved politics by personally abusing others.

Arvind’s verbal attack continues after Kavitha’s reaction

After Kavitha’s reaction, MP Arvind once again mocked her, stating that she is not qualified for her current position. He alleged that Kavitha and KTR are to blame for KCR’s wrongdoings. He questioned why they did not provide ArogyaSri when people were struggling to afford expensive hospital bills during the COVID-19 pandemic, and why they did not implement Ayushman Bharath. He also criticized the government for not providing crop insurance to farmers who suffered crop losses. Additionally, he confidently declared that he would include a promise of providing Rs.10 lakhs if KCR, KTR, and Kavitha die in the BJP manifesto.

Arvind criticized Kavitha for claiming to be a Telangana daughter. He questioned her authenticity when, in reality, she sent rowdies to attack his house when his mother alone in house. In addition, he made inappropriate remarks insinuating whether she was drunk. Arvind claimed that Kavita collected money from the people of Andhra during the Telangana movement led by KCR. He went on to say that even if she were to be jailed, he promised to provide insurance in case of her death, suggesting that the people of Telangana would be happy rather than angry.

Why only Kavitha, no other leader from BRS reacted?

In regard to MP Arvind’s remarks, only Kavitha from the BRS party has reacted while no others have made any comments on this matter so far. Even KCR is maintaining silence over Modi’s allegations against him, as well as Amit Shah’s and Rajnath Singh’s verbal attacks. This could potentially be a political strategy of BRS, as they may not consider BJP as their main opponents in the Telangana elections. As no other leader is responding to Arvind’s remarks, Kavitha is fighting against him alone, as she must secure her seat which she lost to him in the previous elections.
